**The point of illustrating these numbers is not to take anything away from choosing to go to college or obtaining a 4 year degree. Trades NKY simply wishes to highlight that, at a minimum, obtaining a license or certification in a skilled trade (i.e. becoming a licensed electrician) represents an equally valuable post secondary education opportunity. Furthermore, such equally valuable opportunities should be introduced to our children at a young age.
